An oversized aviator steeped in the transgressive magic of disco, Armer celebrates the escapades of gold dust women in the thrall of New York’s sizzling midtown nightclubs. The extravagant proportions of the late 1970s are slimmed and elongated for a dramatic new weight: the precision-milled frame is extruded at the lens rim and appointed with slender steel temples tipped in faceted acetate. Oversize reflective lenses in metallic hues conjure the hypnotic light of a glimmering disco ball.
